Colin L. Read, PhD, age 64, has been a Director of the Company since 2013; he has also served as a Director of Glens Falls National Bank and Saratoga National Bank since 2010 and April 2022, respectively. Dr. Read is a professor of economics and finance in the State University of New York system. He served as Mayor of the City of Plattsburgh, New York for four years, after three years of service on the Clinton County Legislature. He is President of ESG Analytics Group, has taught money and finance since 1987, and teaches sustainability. He is a published author, with various contributions to print, online and television media, as well as 12 books on global finance. Dr. Read has a PhD in economics from Queen’s University, an MBA from the University of Alaska, a law degree from the University of Connecticut, and a master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Tulsa. His expertise in economics and understanding of the Plattsburgh, New York area are key strengths.
