Colin L. Read, Ph.D., age 65, has been a Director of the Company since 2013; he also served as a Director of the Company's subsidiary banks, Glens Falls National Bank and Saratoga National Bank, now named Arrow Bank, since 2010 and 2022, respectively. Dr. Read is a professor of economics and finance in the State University of New York system. He served as Mayor of the City of Plattsburgh, New York in 2016, after three years of service on the Clinton County Legislature. He is President of ESG Analytics Group, has taught money and finance since 1987 and teaches sustainability. He is a published author, with various contributions to print, online and television media, as well as 12 books on global finance. Dr. Read has a Ph.D. in economics from Queen’s University, an MBA from the University of Alaska, a law degree from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Tulsa. Dr. Read's expertise in economics and understanding of the Plattsburgh, New York area are key strengths.
