GLENS FALLS, N.Y. () — The Arrow Family of Companies is pleased to announce the promotion of Harry Kabalian and Amy Merchant to senior vice president roles within the company’s senior management team.
Harry Kabalian has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury. Kabalian has been with Arrow since 2019 and has more than 35 years of accounting experience, including 10 years in the banking industry. A Certified Public Accountant, he leads the company’s financial planning, analysis and budgeting functions and plays an important role in supporting Arrow’s financial strategy and performance. Kabalian earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Siena College and a master’s degree in business administration from Union Graduate College. He is active in the community serving as president of a local golf club.
Amy Merchant has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Employee Total Rewards. Merchant recently celebrated her 25-year anniversary with Arrow and has more than 35 years of experience in human resources. In her role, she manages day-to-day human resources operations of the company’s compensation, payroll, benefits, human resources information systems and leave management functions. She holds the SHRM‑SCP certification and brings deep expertise and commitment to supporting employees and strengthening Arrow’s total rewards programs. Merchant earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from SUNY Cortland and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of New Haven. She is active in the community, volunteering at Southern Adirondack Independent Living.
